Modern Art is based mainly on the interpretation of emotions!
In order to illustrate urban landscapes, portraits, or even everyday life, the Pop Artist Lobo has been coloring Pop Art in Brazil with his works, probably in a unique style.
The Discovery of Pop Art in Brazil
Lobo is a self-taught painter, who has been involved in the arts since childhood, in 1991 he started his career working in advertising agencies.
In 2003 after spending 12 years working in advertising, he discovered his talent for painting and as a result, he met Pop Art.
After a few years, his style finally began to mature and he decided to leave the roots inspired by Keith Haring and Andy Warhol to develop a language of his own.
“I was always connected to art, but I never imagined that one day I would live on it”, says Lobo.
Lobo’s democratized works use vibrant and cheerful colors to tell the stories of his clients, who are also as complex as his style.
Lobo is a studio artist, but he felt the need to make his work public, and started painting Pop Art murals in Brazil.
“With my art, I want to paint and value even more the good things in life. Life is certainly incredible! ”Says Lobo.
Lobo has been transforming Pop Art into its own language and in constant evolution
Lobo combines elements of Brazilian culture, folklore, nature and aspects of the culture of the countries he visits, using his colorful and vibrant palette to portray cheerful themes, as a result, creates a visual expression of hope and happiness.
Pop Art in Brazil, certainly very well represented!
