Rolling Stone Celebrates anniversary with an Exhibition

Rolling Stone Magazine

Rolling Stone Magazine

The Brazilian version of the Rolling Stone magazine celebrates its 2nd anniversary with a party!

Celebrating the second year in Brazil, the Rolling Stone magazine threw a party at HSBC Brasil, which the theme was “Actions that change the world”. The idea was to make people aware that their attitudes could change the world they live in. The event has received around two thousand guests, in Sao Paulo.

To illustrate the theme, the magazine has invited the visual artist Lobo, who had exhibited some of the magazine covers and some people who somehow changed the world, as Ayrton Senna, Elvis Presley, Paulo Coelho, Bob Marley, among others.

With a Rock n’ Roll festive atmosphere the party was led by shows of the band NX Zero and by the Scottish singer KT Tunstall.

A Rock Band video game challenge and the performance of Sergio Dias from Mutantes, on a Kier electric guitar, were also attractions presented at the party!

Nowadays all the pieces of art from the exhibition are printed on the walls of the magazine’s office, which has been in Brazil since October 2006.

It one of the many international versions of the Rolling Stone magazine, which has been published in the USA since 1967.

Viviane Senna, President of the Ayrton Senna Institute and sister of the three-time world champion pilot, received a piece of art, which honors her bother, as a present. See the artist painting Ayrton Senna, here
