284 BRASIL
Launch your new collection
of summer with new facade!
The 284 store has invited the artist Lobo to create a new storefront at their shop in Sao Paulo, which has just welcomed their summer collection.
The brand belongs to the bloggers Helena Bordon, Luciana and Marcella Transchesi and they present their new collection at a very cheerful cocktail reception. They also use the special occasion to present the new storefront of the 284 Brazil, which is located in one of the most famous streets in Sao Paulo.
Created by artist Lobo, the storefront, located at Rua Oscar Freire, has been inspired by Color Blocking style, which has everything to do with the Summer Fast Fashion, and it blends seamlessly with the color of the artist’s paintings.
Lobo has created the art inspired on the collection, where the “characters” were the models of the fashion campaign.
Color blocking is a huge trend in which it is paired neon colors together in the same outfit. It is been present in collections of international brands such as Marc Jacobs, Lacoste, Balenciaga, among others.
Yves Saint Laurent was the first stylist to pop this trend at his Fall/Winter collection, when it was launched the Mondrian dress of his collection entitled “Pop Art” in 1966, showing that fashion and art can bond, and the outcome can be very satisfying.
Andy Warhol is probably the first Pop Art icon to become an important influential figure in the fashion world. He started his career as a fashion illustrator, working for magazines as Glamour, Mademoiselle and even Vogue. He was also the first artist to turn his art into fashion pieces.
