“My commitment to these art murals was to create a narrative, a concept that goes beyond being just beautiful. Art needs to overcome the viewer’s sensibilities. I hope with my art that visitors and travelers can experience information about the richness of the Brazilian culture.”

Interactive Art Murals

More and more people will use airplanes as a means of transport so that Airports will be a great center of concentrations of people. And in the post-9/11 era, airport terminals became major fortresses, with travelers being checked, machines searching luggage, checking and ostentatious security tests.

And increasingly, the architecture of airports is being thought to reassure passengers about these subconscious fears.

Fraport is democratizing access to art, bringing it closer to the public. And when that happens, the art located inside an Airport, it takes on another dimension, in addition to symbolizing the place, Lobo’s art will serve the public, inspiring, welcoming, becoming accessible.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Artworks of art that are waiting to be discovered and appreciated

“During the installation of the mural that has the Internacional stadium, I heard some passengers commenting and wondering where the mural painted with the Grêmio stadium would be. The cool thing about this is to make passengers and visitors go through the airport looking for art, it will be interesting to see people having fun while waiting for their flights. ” says the Pop Artist Lobo

The Lobo’s artworks at the Salgado Filho Airport in Porto Alegre depict the culture of Rio Grande do Sul. To be inspired by the creation of the murals, the artist Lobo did extensive research on the habits, culture and elements of the gaucho traditions.
