Sao Paulo has produced some of the best Street Art artists in the world!<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sao Paulo<\/a> is the most influential Brazilian city in the global scenario, being considered the 14th most globalized city on the planet. Besides being the financial center of the South American continent, S\u00e3o Paulo is one of the most creative and culturally diverse cities in the world.<\/p>\n

Sao Paulo offers program options for all tastes. When the subject is art and culture then what is not lacking are places with the most diverse schedules.<\/p>\n

Today, the city is known as the Graffiti World Capital!<\/h2>\n

Vila Madalena<\/a> is known for its bohemian style, modernity, and also graphite, specifically Beco do Batman. But the Village, as locals like to call the neighborhood, also has street art in most streets protected from trees. Another alley worth exploring is Beco do Aprendiz.<\/p>\n

Beco do Batman<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

This alley is covered in street art. The walls of the houses are composed of a mixture between the paint and the plants. In this alley, all graffiti is done after permission of the owner, entrance is at Harmonia Street and ends at Medeiros de Albuquerque Street.<\/p>\n

His story began in the 1980s, when a comic-book cartoon was found on the walls of the neighborhood. The event attracted students of arts, who began to make drawings of cubist and psychedelic influence in the walls of the Alley, forming the gallery of walls completely covered.<\/p>\n

Beco do Aprendiz<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Beco do Aprendiz has been transformed into an outdoor art gallery with the work of dozens of graffiti artists. The name – translated to “alley apprentice” – suggests the fact that these artists could not claim a space in Beco do Batman, but as you’ll see, they’re so good and so creative.<\/p>\n

Cambuci<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

It is impossible to talk about graffiti in Sao Paulo and not mention the neighborhood of Cambuci. Considered one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Sao Paulo, it was here that the famous artists Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo, known as Os Gemeos<\/a> began and where you can still see many of his previous works.<\/p>\n

Names of famous graffiti artists are not lacking in the walls and fa\u00e7ades of the neighborhood: Nina Pandolfo, Nunca, Vitche, Finok, ISE, Cris Rodrigues.<\/p>\n

Cruzeiro do Sul\u00a0Avenue<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

Cruzeiro do Sul Avenue, located in the north end of the city, is considered by many street art experts as the first Open Museum of Urban Art in Sao Paulo. In recent years, the 33 pillars supporting the blue subway line at Carandiru Station have won several drawings by renowned artists such as Speto, Binho, Chivitz, Akeni, Minhau, Larkone, Onesto and Zezao.<\/p>\n

23 de Maio\u00a0Avenue<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

Although in 2017 the new mayor of Sao Paulo promises to remove much of the graffiti on 23 de Maio Avenue, what is likely to remain must still be impressive.<\/p>\n

On the 70 walls along one of the busiest routes in the city, more than 200 artists were able to express themselves and show their art, leaving traffic in this main corridor less tiring for those who were stuck in constant traffic jams.<\/p>\n

Graffiti is known all over the world. Although the term is often associated with the art of spray paint, it comes in all forms of street art.<\/p>\n
