The project organized by the Nucleus of ARTE URBANA BR (N.A.U.) disembarks in the Square Flowers, in the Paulista Avenue, in Sao Paulo
There are five containers that intervene in space and serve as shelter for cultural manifestation.
About 15 artists, such as Pop Artist Lobo, Ale Jordan, Simone Sapienza, Vj Alexis and Spencer Tunick, were invited to create and exhibit works related to Urban Art, Fashion and Design.
The idea promises to draw the attention of the curious and bring the public closer to urban art, which, in turn, questions the use of urban space.
The physical space of N.A.U. was designed by Ale Jordan to be a temporary urban art intervention, instigate the passerby’s curiosity to visitation and lead him to reflect on his life and his role within the urban chaos.
The format, the colors and the interaction between the external and internal space through large windows aim to take the passerby for some moments of the day-to-day running.
The great urban art facility is located in the city of Sao Paulo, and then goes to cities such as Gramado, Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro – incorporating artists and local references to the exhibition.
The Paulista Avenue is the most popular in the city and concentrates everything that is best in Sao Paulo.
It is possible to visit museums and cultural centers, find a park amidst great skyscrapers, check out bookstores and urban art exhibitions, enjoy happy hour in one of its many bars, enjoy nightlife in nightclubs, watch theatrical shows and cinema sessions of the most varied styles, and shopping.
Paulista Avenue isn’t only the heart of the city. Despite its vocation for business, the symbol avenue of the city is one of the main cultural exponents of the metropolis.
