Quarantined Art! With social distance and non-essential business shutdowns still in full force in many parts of the world, Brazilian artist Lobo uses part of his time in quarantine to create arts that communicate with people, bringing hope and solidarity.

The artist Lobo participates in the Arte Conecta project, together with SP Urban, which promotes a creative moment in the quarantine art, opening colored windows in the city of Sao Paulo.

Today, thanks to the internet, we are not so alone during our confinement. I have harnessed the power of the Internet to bring art to people, sharing messages of hope and solidarity and reintegrating the message of those who can stay at home.

In the first animation the artist portrayed some icons of Brazil, such as Cristo Redentor, Masp, Brasilia Cathedral, etc. and a plane passes with the message “Share Solidarity”.

In this moment of combating the new coronavirus, solidarity has become one of the main weapons against pandemic.

In the second part of the animation, health professionals were honored, who are the main heroes of the front line in this pandemic.

 

Tribute to the front line professionals.

In recognition of the importance of professionals who are on the frontlines at such a delicate moment in human history, many tributes have appeared around the world.

The artist Lobo created an art that highlights doctors, nurses, firefighters, the press, truckers, police, security guards, street sweepers, anyway, everyone who is working to ensure that we have a more comfortable life in quarantine.

All of these frontline professionals spend a great deal of time away from their families and dedicate themselves to a cause of enormous humanitarian relevance that has the ultimate objective of saving lives.

Italy – Quarantine Art by artist Lobo

The Italian people emerged from the mixture of diverse peoples. Italy is one of the main tourist destinations in the world. With several Cultural and Natural Heritage of Humanity such as: Historic center of Rome, Vatican City, Dome Square (in Pisa), Tower of Pisa, among others. It was one of the main countries affected by the Corona virus pandemic. As a tribute, the artist Lobo created a work highlighting the beauties of Italy.

Amoeba Music Los Angeles

Amoeba Music  is the largest independent record store chain in the United States that is also struggling to overcome the pandemic.

At three addresses in California, closed since mid-March and with no date set to reopen, stores are unable to generate income and pay their 300 employees.

The artist Lobo is a fan of the store and created an exclusive art, in order to help raise funds through posters and t-shirts.

George Floyd was a 46-year-old African American father from Houston (Texas) who died on May 25, 2020. The incident occurred during Floyd’s arrest in Powderhorn, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was videotaped on cell phones. by multiple viewers.

After Floyd’s death, civil strife that began in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota, metropolitan area of the United States, spread across the country.

Protests against George Floyd’s death have spread across the world. Everywhere, people shouted slogans calling for justice for the death of George Floyd and holding placards that read “Black Lives Matter”

Black Lives Matter is an international activist movement, originating in the African American community, which campaigns against violence directed at black people.

The artist Lobo made an art to represent this movement that fights for the value of black lives against violence and racism.
