Named “J. Quest” at first (only in 1988 the name “Jota Quest” was officially given), the first rehearsals had Paulinho Fonseca, PJ and Marco Tulio Lara. After that they counted with the presence of Marcio Buzelin and finally Rogerio Flausino.

The band has structured in a peculiar sound mix adding black music, rock n’ roll and pop.

Altogether they have 8 albums in studio, 4 Alive CDs/DVDs, an album in Spanish, collections/compilations, documentaries, video clips and special projects had marked a successful journey in music, which already surpass the number of 5 million copies sold and more than 3.000 shows performed. And it goes on, maintaining their original formation, being one of the most favorite pop-rock bands in Brazil.

“It was really nice being part of this job with Jota Quest. I have learned a lot about creating an exhibition to a wide audience and I could see a little of the band’s backstage and its fans. I could never imagine that there were so many fans who followed a band through the country. Besides, the band has received me really well. They are really talented and professional.” Lobo.
