Alternative Rock cbegan in the mid-1980s and flourished in the 1990s
First of all, naming the best alternative songs (my way) is a burden to anyone who considers themselves an alternative rock fan.
In the 2000s, the popularity of alternative music pushed her into the new “mainstream,” with new independent bands defining her music as “Indie Rock.”
